Colin Grindle,
President/ CEO

Colin comes from a long history of hockey, and so does his family. His father, Terry, signed with the Detroit Redwings back in 1966, and continued his professional career with the Johnstown Jets. Following the Jets, he moved over to Yorkton for the Terriers. Terry Grindle was also recently inducted into the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame; a very proud moment for Colin. As you could have guessed, Colin began playing hockey at a very young age; going on to play in Junior A, AAA Midget, and Senior Hockey. His love for the game was once again passed down to his sons, Colby & Austin, finding the same passion for the game.  Colin then embarked into coaching roles, which included Camrose, as well as for the (NCHL) Devon Barons. 

When the opportunity arose to acquire the Daysland Northstars, Colin didn’t take his time in deciding this was something he wanted to do. After finding some ice time, and the NCHL gave the green light for the transition, the fun began! Re-branding the team and recruiting the players you see today, became what is now known as the Camrose Crush!
